Submit your drawings, doodles, paintings, screen prints, photographs, textiles, stickers, poems, zines, anything that can be rolled up and transported with ease.

The brief for submission is completely open, anything rollable and you can send up to 15 pieces, including duplicates.

The size is down to whether it can be safely distributed by bicycle, so as the artworks are to be rolled, length isn’t a problem but width might be tricky over 100cm, ref Berlin exhibition here

Include a note with your submission detailing your name/website/email as we would like to credit work during the exhibition, on the roll bands, and online. Anonymous artworks are welcome too!

Submissions to be lovingly exhibited during April at the 48Sheet project space, Mailbox, Wharfside.

Deliver in person or post your contribution to ‘Papergirl BHM’:

As Papergirl is all-inclusive we welcome anyone to take part.  There are no restrictions on medium, nor on participants’ age, education, gender, location or background.  Both emerging, and more established artists are encouraged to submit.  This means a diverse range of prints, stickers, posters, photographs, illustrations, zines, drawings, paintings, textiles, t-shirts, can be brought together to form a series of unique art rolls.

If you’re a ravishingly roadworthy cyclist and would like to take part in the distribution day or have any other questions regarding the project email:
